Dr. Taha RIDENE is Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) of Skills4Mind, SmartImmoKnowledge, and Ocr4Labs, three ventures specialized in Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Extended Reality (XR) applied to strategic domains such as Digital Health (E-Health), EdTech, and Economic Intelligence. An AI and Data Expert as well as a Digital Health Strategist with more than 20 years of experience, Dr. RIDENE has been actively contributing to the development and integration of intelligent systems and immersive technologies in both academic and industrial contexts. Since 2006, he has held various positions as research engineer, researcher, and guest researcher at the City University of New York (CUNY), USA. A passionate educator since 2007, Dr. RIDENE has taught at numerous prestigious institutions in France and abroad, including Mines Paris, École Polytechnique (l’X), ENSTA Paris, Université Paris Descartes, USP São Paulo (Brazil), CUNY (USA), CREA Geneva (Switzerland), University of Fez (Morocco), and UTM (Tunisia). He co-directed the Master’s program in Image and Virtual Reality (IRV) at EFREI Paris, and currently leads the “AI for Vision and Autonomous Vehicles” module within the CES-IA Executive Certificate program at Telecom Paris School of Engineering. Dr. RIDENE earned his Ph.D. in Real-Time Computing, Automation, and Robotics in 2010 from the prestigious National School of Mines of Paris (Mines Paris). Prior to that, he obtained his Master of Research (Valedictorian) in Artificial Intelligence applied to Computer Vision from René Descartes University – Paris V in 2006.
